2023 Block Island Summer Show
I painted this study in June on a beautiful spring day. There was a breeze and the light was lovely on the porch. Some small towels blow in the warm breeze to dry, all is well with the world for this moment in time, I am inspired and at peace. This is one of many new works exhibited at Jessie Edwards Gallery on Block Island RI . jessiedwardsstudio.com Late Afternoon Porch 30x40 " oil on canvas

September on Block Island 2019
This old house I have always loved...across the street from"painted rock"...There was a "soon to be wed" couple there , Dylan and Lily, painting the rock with their wedding date, Sept 21, also mine 45 years ago. As I worked on this study , I wondered which was harder to do, the rock or the canvas? Mansion Beach Bluffs 24x30" oil on canvas Little House at Painted Rock, 16x20" oil on canvas

Self Portrait January 2019
Here I am standing in front of a mirror in my studio, again. Well haven't done a self portrait since last year this time, New Years Day...Now I need to keep the glasses on no matter what... I don't know where January went but it just dashed away over the frozen hills...I am wearing a very warm cashmere scarf I found at a thrift shop which works well to keep the cold at bay...16x20 oil on canvas
