Self Portrait Drawing
I had not done a self portrait since last year and I had not drawn one in many more ...so this attempt was made...I never know what I look like....but always an interesting way to spend the morning....16x20 " China Marker on Bristol Paper

I like these black and white sketches.
You look a little like Van Gogh.
But you also look angry. You don't usually look angry.
Maybe this is the artiste, subconsciously angry with the state of the world.
I suppose, however, a cheerful smiling image might not be serious enough to inspire the respect an artist deserves.
My father did some of the most unflattering self-portraits in the history of painting.
