Conch on the Beach at Cramer Park USVI

I got this conch to pose for me with Buck Island in the distance.... As the waves were gently breaking I was desperately painting...trying very hard to capture what I was experiencing...tricky subject...good model  watercolor 12x16"

    I LOVE this.

    The conch has center stage.

    Sort of like Leonardo on the bow of the Titanic.
