Another AJ
What I liked about doing these paintings was that AJ never posed for me, and he really didn't pay any attention to what I was doing, so I didn't have to worry about him seeing the portraits or care about whether it was a good likeness or not....he looks very different in each one for the most part....watercolor 12x16"

Red Squirrel and Pine Cone
I found this little red squirrel on the way to the studio one cold morning a few weeks ago lying in the road and brought it in to paint it. It ended up on top of a book of Matisses ( one which I was reproducing, interpreting for a friend). When do I ever get a squirrel to pose for me? Unfortunately only when it cannot run away...The pine cone had been kicking around the studio for a while.... oil on canvas 20x24" Oh by the way today is my birthday...59...that's amazing,

Collage I
Here is a piece of work I did when I was going to school in Palm Beach Fla., Graham Eckes to be exact...These were the modern days...3'x4' New York Times in the middle of the yellow disc and surounding...I was inspired by a fellow student so I did several of this size and idea....It won a prize in the local museum, 1st place...I was 13,14 at the time, recently it was purchased and added to an impressive art collection by a lovely couple, after 40+ years of me taking care of it! Never give up before the miracle...
