When I enter the local grocery store the flowers call out to me...Here is a plant that made it back to the studio in sub zero weather and lived to be painted several times(there is another one )...I liked the funny little blossoms...so simple and the leaves so wild...20x20" oil on canvas
And the flowers say "Come here, Miss Katie. Take us home, paint us and make us immortal."
