Self Portrait January 2019
Here I am standing in front of a mirror in my studio, again. Well haven't done a self portrait since last year this time, New Years Day...Now I need to keep the glasses on no matter what... I don't know where January went but it just dashed away over the frozen hills...I am wearing a very warm cashmere scarf I found at a thrift shop which works well to keep the cold at bay...16x20 oil on canvas

Hot summer days painting the landscape with my class, hard to find some shade to stand in... I was very inspired by this old barn and several others near by...I wondered if there would ever come a day when no one will know what a barn is?
