The PRICE CHOPPER Plant in the Winter Studio

When I enter the local grocery store the flowers call out to me...Here is a plant that made it back to the studio in sub zero weather and lived to be painted several times(there is another one )...I liked the funny little blossoms...so simple and the leaves so wild...20x20" oil on canvas

Time Passes in the Studio as in Life

The bouquet was picked as winter approached and there was very little left in the fields to chose from...but I loved it and so I painted it and then painted it again (as usual) at least a week later...still lovely in the morning sun of the studio... 12x12" oil   11x14" oil

Lilies at Margot and Val's House Winter Afternoon Light

I brought Margot Trout, wonderful artist,  these blooms and fell in love with how they looked on her table so I painted them! I get a really good feeling inside this old house (1700's) can you tell? 30x40" oil on canvas
