Diana's Tulips

There's nothing like a good bunch of wild tulips, not to be confused with wild salmon, these tulips were grown in a garden but went wild after they were in a vase for a while ... you can't blame them...this movement inspires me.....oil on canvas 20x20"

View from the Sullivan House BI

This was my favorite painting ( one of many) from September on the island....There was a terrific North Eastern wind and cloudy sky but we had been painting in the shelter of the Sullivan House...I had been working on two studies and was fairly exhausted and ready to call it a day when the sun broke through over New Harbor....so I kept painting ....don't quit before the miracle happens... 24x36" oil on canvas
