Red Squirrel From the Middle of the Road

On my way to the studio the other day I stopped to pick this little animal up which was in the middle of the road, dead.....I always try to make the best of this opportunity to really..look at...this now dead creature, which otherwise I would not be holding in my here is a close up...dreaming of the acorns which are no more...oil on canvas 20x20"

Portrait of Bob

Bob came and posed at the studio today...made it through the snow and ice so did did 6 of my we all painted Bob....he was a great model...very fair complextion and wonderful red hair! The clementines were good models too, except while I was painting them they moved in the really..I had already painted them and I looked up and they were in a very different one knew what had happened...???? got me, at least Bob didn't move...oil on canvas 30x30"
