On my way to the studio the other day I stopped to pick this little animal up which was in the middle of the road, dead.....I always try to make the best of this opportunity to really..look at...this now dead creature, which otherwise I would not be holding in my hands....so here is a close up...dreaming of the acorns which are no more...oil on canvas 20x20"

And BTW, look out for the mites and fleas that leave a dead animal in swarms and may be happy to find a new host. . .
already buried,no swarms...
