Time Passes in the Studio as in Life


The bouquet was picked as winter approached and there was very little left in the fields to chose from...but I loved it and so I painted it and then painted it again (as usual) at least a week later...still lovely in the morning sun of the studio... 12x12" oil   11x14" oil

The show in Hudson will hang for this month...You can go see a dozen beautiful interesting inspiring paintings of my gardens and others from around the Berkshires...Get away from the cold and dive into the color...This particular study was done at Naumkeag Estate ....This was the "gardeners" cottage surrounded by Dahlias...30x30" oil on canvas

Lilies at Margot and Val's House Winter Afternoon Light
