The Path Down to Cooneymous

I really liked the pattern this fence made...and then the waves breaking....and the wild roses....but especially listening to the Bell Bouy ringing out in the surf....some fishermen walked by as I was painting and asked" Do you really see all those colors?" I had to stop and think about it...."Yes, I do see them all....and then some"....30x30" oil  on canvas

This is a rare beauty... one painting that says it all. The clouds in the distance resemble mountains.. the infinite.

On the right, the tangled and often bittersweet roses that represent life.
On the left, the dried, lifeless and crooked reminders of mortal mind, and its attempts to limit and define our path to freedom.

How's that for a critique?

The fence.
