The Mill and Housatonic River Reflections
I painted this study from the bridge...a sunny autumn afternoon...I like the composition and colors of the reflections in the moving water...oil on canvas ...24x36"
I love this painting. I find the orangey red in the river compelling as it squiggles and takes its place in the dance with the rest of the colors on the canvas. The painting has something of the river, and of its own life.

That's the prettiest river I ever saw.
