Flourishing Garden or Watering Can from Sing Sing(the prison,spelling?)

I painted this at a friend and students house one fine afternoon...could not resist the watering can....my friend came out while I was painting and told me she had gotten it from the gardener at Sing Sing prison" They don;t make them like that any more." she said...I just loved the colors and the raised beds filled with growing things....
Landscapes, portraits, farm animals, drawings, watercolors, oils, still lifes, the Berkshires, Block Island, St Croix and Manhattan. Expressionistic, Impressionistic color studies.

I was from the next town over from Sing Sing. We used to drive around it and admire the parapets and barbed wire. Who knew there were gardens inside.

Nice post! I also watered my garden, but I use garden hose for watering post. It is more easy for me to use.
