Amazing what happens just in the patterns that are painted on the streets...Madison Ave crossing 57th St...a wide street,4 lanes, I used to walk down it every day to get the Art Students League...I commuted up from West 12th...another December afternoon....warm buildings, cool streets....oil on canvas 30x40"
Landscapes, portraits, farm animals, drawings, watercolors, oils, still lifes, the Berkshires, Block Island, St Croix and Manhattan. Expressionistic, Impressionistic color studies.

Hard to choose between all the great NYC pix, but I think the grid here speaks to me, along with the dogwalker humanizing the scene. Love the cars and cabs, too. It's the light, I guess. Always the light.
